W07 Reflection: Entrepreneurial Journey

 Date: 09/05/2022

  • This week the things that stood out to me the most, were the ideas of having an attitude of gratitude and being a constant learner. The reason these things stood out most to me are because I feel like I lack a lot in both of these. I often find myself being very pessimistic and negative and letting the stress and possible negative outcomes rule how I think. I don't look at the hopeful things and a lot of that is because of the lack of gratitude that I often have. I felt very inspired as I studied this week, that I need to start looking for and focusing on all the amazing blessings that I have in my life especially when things don't seem to be going the best. I know that if I start doing this, I will become a happier, more uplifting person, and that I will find more success in my life.
  • In regard to being a constant learner, I feel inspired that I need to find ways to continue to learn and grow after I graduate. I am a senior right now, and the fall semester will be my last, and I want to make sure that I don't stop learning after that. I have never been happy in the moments that I am not doing anything. I hate being idle and not finding ways to progress in my life, so I want to make sure that I avoid that. I am going to start seeking hobbies, going to classes, maybe earning certificates, finding mentors, etc. I know that each of these things would make me feel content, and possibly lead me to opportunities in my life that I didn't know were available before.
  • I am thankful for this class and the valuable lessons that I have been able to learn about personal growth and my entrepreneurial journey. I am excited to take all the concepts I learned and put them to the test.
