 Date: 07/30/2022 I personally think that Randy Pausch was able to achieve his childhood dreams because he was willing to put the necessary work into reaching them. As we learned throughout his lecture, he worked hard to get into the best schools, networked and made connections with individuals that would allow him to further his career, sought advice of those around him, and found ways to continue getting better while he was teaching others. I was very inspired by his story, and know that if I were to put the necessary work in to my dreams and find ways to overcome difficulty that could arise, that I could be as successful as Randy was during his lifetime. In my opinion, dreaming is one of the most important things we can do during our lifetime. This world would be very depressing if we had no dreams and just stayed in our current positions in life.  Date: 07/28/2022 This week I learned that entrepreneurship isn't all about creating a business or being your own boss, it is about discovering who you are. All of the successful entrepreneurs and leaders that we listened to or studied this week all had one thing in common, and that is that they had a dream and they chased it. They didn't just sit back and wait for things to happen for them, they made it happen.  It is important for me as I continue in my career and education that I begin to figure out who I am, what drives me, and want I want to accomplish in this short life we are given. The last lecture that Randy Pausch was my favorite item I read this week because it made me see the importance of living life to fullest. I want to "begin in the end in mind" right now before its too late. I want to look back and feel at peace that I lived life to its full potential and experienced everything I wanted to.
